A Link to the Past Illustrated

In July 2021, I started Illustrating my favorite game of all time, The Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Past for the Super Nintendo, only using Black and white, like old storybook ink illustrations. The intention was to make 42 illustrations, depicting the key moments of the plot, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the game by sharing how I imagine those pixel patterns in my mind, with the benefit of exercising my illustrating skills.

The 30 anniversary has come and gone, and what was initially planned to be simpler scenes I would draw once a week, got more ambitious with every piece I finished, and now has become not only the founding stone of my main art style but also my main field of experimenting with different textures and angles.

The series is currently ongoing, over halfway through. Stay tuned to my socials if you want to know more about the making of these.
